This winter, the Val del Biois offers visitors the chance to enjoy exploring the area, following Prints on the Snow…an itinerant contemporary art exhibition featuring works displayed in the hotels and shops of the valley.

Beginning on 17th December, the event will be open to visitors throughout the winter season!

The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the Municipality of Falcade, the PromoFalcade Consortium and the Visual Arts Department of the Brera Academy in Milan’s Painting and Pictorial Techniques Course. It features 45 works by artists and ex-students of the Academy, under the artistic direction of Prof. Angelo Antonio Falmi.

The paintings, in various sizes and using different techniques, with precise execution or broad brushstrokes, offer a thrilling, original portrait of the identity of the Val del Biois, bringing life and soul to the people, history and picturesque scenery of the valley.

Tourism and commerce operators have welcomed the event with enthusiasm, displaying the works on their premises, and a map has been created to show visitors where the artistic creations can be admired.
