The first teams of Umana Reyer Venezia on pre-season retreat in Falcade
For the fourth consecutive year, the wonderful Dolomiti Bellunesi of Falcade and Val del Biois will once again welcome the Umana Reyer’s first teams for the 2024-25 pre-season retreat.
Thanks to the multi-year agreement with the tourism promotion consortium PromoFalcade Dolomiti, the municipalities of Val del Biois will provide their sports facilities and accommodations for the organization of the work of the gold and purple team groups.
The men’s first team will be the first to arrive, from Sunday 25th of August to Saturday 31th of August, staying at the Sport Hotel Cristal, where the team presentation and welcome are scheduled during the week before dinner.
Falcade is equipped with the “PalaFalcade” sports hall, a facility that will host indoor training sessions for the gold and purple athletes, who will also have access to the gym at the Ski College Veneto and the local football field for athletic training.
The team meets the fans
On Saturday, August 31th, the players and staff of the first team will also meet the fans and families at the Reyer Village on the Piana di Falcade, overlooking the Sport Hotel Cristal. Stands and basketball hoops will be set up for the little ones.
The Girls of Umana Reyer
From Sunday, September 1st, to Thursday, September 5th the women’s Umana Reyer team will hold their training camp in the mountains, making use of the same sports facilities as the men’s first team, and they will be staying at the Park Hotel Arnica. There will also be a team presentation and welcome for the gold and purple girls, in the hotel’s outdoor area.
Both teams’ training sessions will be open to the public, while respecting the silence and internal regulations of the gym.
