Venezia FC summer training at Falcade Dolomiti
Venezia FC announces their training retreat at Falcade on the Dolomiti Bellunesi from the 10th to the 24th of July 2023.
Venezia FC is pleased to announce a new partnership with Falcade Dolomiti, which will host the pre-season training camp for the next four sporting seasons.
This year, Falcade will host the club’s summer training camp from July 10 to July 24. Players, coaches, staff and management will enjoy the hospitality of the Biois Valley, taking advantage of top-notch sports facilities and services. The team led by manager Paolo Vanoli will stay at Hotel Belvedere, while the training headquarters will be the newly built sports center.
Falcade is a popular destination at 1200 m above sea level that lies in the center of a vast plain, surrounded by the superb peaks of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites: the Cime d’Auta, the Pale di San Martino with the Focobon group, Monte Civetta and Marmolada.
Its ideal geographic location, only 45 km from the Venezia-Belluno highway, will make it possible for Venezia fans to follow the team closely from the very first moments of the 2023/24 season.
Venezia FC President Duncan Niederauer:
“We are excited about this new multi-year partnership and are grateful to the Mayor, the entire municipal administration and the PromoFalcade consortium for their invaluable support. Falcade has already distinguished itself over the years as a hub capable of attracting the major sporting organizations in the area, and with good reason: the quality of the sports facilities and the extraordinary accommodation capacity of the city, combined with the natural beauty of the Dolomites, will allow our athletes to prepare at their best, and our fans to follow them step by step.”
The Mayor together with the Tourism and Sports Councillor Fulvio Valt and PromoFalcade President Antonella Schena:
“It is a great honor and opportunity for us to host such a prestigious football team. We want to create the perfect conditions for Venezia’s training camp to be productive and we are sure that this partnership will be extremely beneficial to the tourism of our beautiful town.”
